Bill is the Senior Vice President of CALSTART and leads CALSTART’s commercial truck and off-road vehicle Initiative as well as business development. Bill has nearly 40 years of experience in technology development, commercialization and marketing. He oversees program teams in a range of commercial vehicle demonstration, validation, incentive and policy activities, including the NAFA Sustainable Fleet Accreditation Program. He personally leads projects in fleet sustainability standards, creating national truck and bus incentives and effective fuel economy regulations. Bill is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Anthropology, is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, has a certificate in brand management from Stanford and served on the founding Board of the North American Council for Freight Efficiency.
