Biography:
Chantal Guimont earned a bachelor’s degree with a dual option in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Université de Montréal in 1980.
Chantal Guimont is responsible for strategic planning and for activities related to individual Transportation Electrification and public transit Electrification. Among other achievements, she and her team designed, developed, negotiated and implemented Canada’s first network of public charging stations, the "Electric Circuit."
Ms. Guimont is Hydro-Québec’s representative on the project and policy committees of the Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership (formally e8) and sits on the board of the Canadian Hydropower Association.
