Carley Markovits is a Principal with Nelson\Nygaard, and is serving as the LA Office Lead. Carley is focused on the influence of new transportation technologies and the evolving mobility paradigm in cities. she is currently leafding regional efforts and studies in Southern California, which includes managing the technical transportation plans and stakeholder engagement efforts for Los Angeles 2028 and their preparations for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Carley's multi-disciplinary background includes experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Prior to Nelson\Nygaard, Carley worked in transportation planning at AECOM, and in environmental planning and transit operations at LA Metro. Carley received a BA from Dartmouth College and a Master of Planning and Public Administration dual degree from the University of Southern California.
