Gene Rodrigues is the Director of Customer Energy Efficiency and Solar for Southern California Edison Company. In this capacity, Gene oversees SCE’s portfolio of Energy Efficiency, Low Income Energy Efficiency, Low Income Rate Assistance, California Solar Initiative and Self Generation Incentive programs. SCE is a national leader in helping customers to save energy, money and the environment through its award-winning energy efficiency programs.
In addition to his duties at SCE, Gene serves as chairman of the board of directors for the Consortium for Energy Efficiency. He also serves on the boards of the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy and the China-US Energy Efficiency Alliance. Gene is a member of the executive leadership group for the U.S. DOE/EPA-sponsored State Energy Efficiency Action Network, the strategy committee for EEI's Institute for Energy Efficiency, and the steering committee for the Alliance to Save Energy's Global Action Network for Energy Efficiency Education.
