Paul Wassgren is a partner at DLA Piper LLP (US), one of the world’s largest law firms, and practices at the intersection of corporate law, real estate, and securities. He regularly represents funds, real estate sponsors, lenders, and investors, and has helped position DLA Piper as a market leader in the Qualified Opportunity Zone space. Paul has extensive experience in the areas of project and real estate finance, acquisitions, general corporate law, and private placements. His clients range in size from individual entrepreneurs to multinational corporations.
In addition to his legal practice, Paul has extensive experience as an investor in the real estate industry. He holds a law degree and MBA from Oxford University, and a BA in Economics from Pepperdine University.
