In order to meet to meet emissions reduction goals in transportation, mode shift is a necessary component for reducing vehicle miles traveled. What role does infrastructure play in changing public behavior? With cycling providing significant opportunities to reduce automobile trips, this panel will address the main challenges and opportunities to implementing infrastructure to prioritize cycling as a primary mode of mobility and identify the lowest hanging fruits in the LA region that will add the most value for improving cycling infrastructure.
