Senior Director, Hydrogen and Ammonia Department, NEDO

Since March 2025, he has been serving as the Senior Director of the Hydrogen and Ammonia Department at NEDO. Previously, he held several key positions, including Director of the Smart Community and Energy System Department at NEDO, where he managed over 50 national hydrogen projects, covering areas such as fuel cells, hydrogen production, and turbine technology innovations. He also served as the Representative of NEDO’s Washington, D.C. office, overseeing cooperative research and technology transfer projects across North America, while strengthening collaboration between Japanese and U.S. governmental bodies. Additionally, he was a lecturer at Tohoku University, specializing in national project management.

He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, specializing in electrochemistry. Prior to that, he earned both his Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering from Tohoku University, with a focus on Quantum Science and Energy Engineering.
