Dan Weinstein is a partner at CTI Housing, a multifamily developer building student and mixed-use housing. CTI prioritizes building in underserved communities desperate for new housing stock for the many working Californians who are housing insecure. The firm has been championing diverse income communities where there is a cross-section of market rate, workforce, and affordable units throughout their projects. Activating the ground floor with local, established retail concepts is also an important component of the approach that CTI embraces to become an integral part of every community that they develop in. Presently, the firm is developing 824 units of middle-income housing, including 216 units of for-sale condos earmarked for lower income families to create a pathway to home ownership.
