Ignacio Fernandez is an economist and Senior Policy Advisor at The Climate Registry, specializing in climate change mitigation, carbon markets, and environmental economics. With a master’s in environmental studies from UC Santa Cruz and prior roles at Southern California Edison and Chile's Ministry of Energy, he brings deep expertise in emissions trading, MRV systems, and market-based climate policy.
