Experience includes - Commercial, Economic, Cultural and Political Diplomacy; Multilateral Affairs; Consular /Diaspora issues; Analysis and Implementation of Government of India's policies; Budget and Grants; Public Policy; Policy formulation; efficient handling / Management of people and processes; stakeholder engagement; International Relations; Strategic Outreach and Crisis Operations Management; Contract Policy Analysis and Finance Management; Project Management (budget, financial reporting, human resources); Handling of high profile visits by President, Vice President, Prime Minister & Ministers of the Government of India and various business delegations, etc. to Andorra, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Cyprus, India, Mexico, Peru, South Africa, Spain, USA, Zimbabwe, etc.; Handled Diaspora / Consular Affairs in Missions abroad as well as being the Chief Passport / Visa / Diaspora / Consular Affairs officer for the Government of India; introduced and streamlined the path breaking Passport Seva Project since 2010, including the recent 2025 roll out of chip based e-passports for India, which has revolutionized and delivered passport delivery services to Indian citizens making it more faster, transparent, digital and responsive. Trained at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, Foreign Service Institute in New Delhi, Fletcher School at Tufts University and Indian Institutes of Management in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
