Mike Antos

Principal, Stantec

Mike works at the intersection of water, governance, and community, with a particular focus on helping people work together across difference, scale, and institutional boundaries.

As a social scientist and facilitator, Mike is most engaged by work that requires judgment, trust, and patience—where progress depends as much on shared understanding and timing as on technical insight. He is motivated by helping people discover the work that is important to them, and by supporting them in doing it well.

In this phase of his career, Mike concentrates on mentorship, stewardship, and partnership: supporting clients and teams in building durable capacity, navigating transitions, and developing or sustaining long-term relationships of trust.

His work has centered on California water governance with a proven track record of coordinating complex, publicly engaged, multi-jurisdictional water resources efforts, including notable examples in California’s Integrated Regional Water Management Program, and Los Angeles County’s Safe, Clean Water Program.
