Romi Kadri is an investor, entrepreneur, and technology strategist focused on advancing frontier technologies for energy infrastructure, industrial decarbonization, and next-generation mobility systems. As Managing Partner of Levelized Capital, Kadri leads investments in transformative technologies spanning power generation, grid infrastructure, hydrogen, advanced nuclear, industrial heat, transportation, and sustainable energy systems. Based in Santa Barbara, California, Kadri brings a multidisciplinary background that combines venture capital, engineering, entrepreneurship, and emerging technology commercialization. Prior to co-founding Levelized Capital, he served as Managing Partner at Capella Partners and held investment and advisory roles supporting early-stage technology companies across energy, aerospace, software, and advanced infrastructure sectors. Kadri’s career has consistently centered on identifying and scaling breakthrough technologies with long-term societal and economic impact. His investment work focuses on solutions that address critical infrastructure challenges while improving reliability, efficiency, and sustainability across global energy systems. Through Levelized Capital, he has helped support companies working in advanced nuclear energy, industrial decarbonization, clean fuels, and resilient grid technologies. In addition to his investment leadership, Kadri has a strong technical and entrepreneurial background. He studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was actively involved in entrepreneurship initiatives, electric vehicle engineering projects, and technology commercialization programs. He is also an inventor and contributor to numerous patents related to voice systems, audio technologies, and intelligent device interaction platforms.
