Tanya Peacock

Managing Director for California and Hydrogen, EcoEngineers

Tanya Peacock is Managing Director for California and Hydrogen at EcoEngineers, an international clean energy consulting firm with deep expertise in carbon life-cycle analysis and carbon markets. Based in Los Angeles, Tanya is responsible for expanding EcoEngineers’ energy transition practice in California. She is simultaneously leading the fast-growing hydrogen sector.

A well-known clean energy champion, Tanya currently serves on the Board of Directors of First Public Hydrogen, established to scale the renewable hydrogen marketplace in California and beyond. Tanya chaired the Board of Directors of the California Hydrogen Business Council in 2023 and 2024 and currently serves as a Board Member. Throughout her career, Tanya has played a key role in developing policies and programs to support clean energy production and use in California, and she has held board and leadership roles at the American Biogas Council, MoveLA, Coalition for Renewable Natural Gas, and California Stationary Fuel Cell Collaborative.

In her practice at EcoEngineers, Tanya works with clean energy stakeholders to assess project viability, understand the relevant policy and regulatory landscape, determine the carbon intensity of products, maximize available credits and incentives, and identify regulated and voluntary carbon market opportunities. In addition to consulting services, EcoEngineers provides verification services for all clean fuels programs, IRA tax credit claims, and greenhouse gas inventories.
