Biography:
Babak is a technology developer and leader, gained extensive research and engineering expertise through 10+ years of experience in academia and industry. His experiences span several aspects, including modeling, simulation, and control, as well as nanofabrication of semiconductors, electrochemistry and optoelectronics. Babak is responsible for development of UV disinfection technologies and related products at Acuva Technologies. Babak is a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of British Columbia, where Acuva’s patented UV-LED disinfection technology was first developed and validated.
