Biography:
Josh Roper is the Vice President of Advanced Metering Infrastructure for Silver Spring Networks, delivering networking, hardware, and software solutions that comprise the foundation of the Smart Grid. Josh has spent more than 20 years in the utility industry. Early in his career, Josh served in several distribution engineering, account management, and project management roles at Dallas-based TU Electric, which has since become Oncor. His background also includes product management leadership positions at Siebel Systems and SAP.
Josh holds a BSEE from Rice University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
