Walker Wright is Director of Public Policy for Sunrun, America’s largest dedicated home solar company. Walker focuses on helping Western state markets attain long-term rooftop solar growth via legislative, regulatory and public opinion outcomes. Over the years Walker has testified in numerous regulatory and legislative hearings and provided leadership within various industry trade associations. Walker also serves as public spokesperson for The Alliance for Solar Choice and is a board member to the Solar Neighbor Alliance. Prior to Sunrun he led western policy and business development efforts for Petra Systems, the New Jersey based utility and smart grid solutions provider. Walker is a published author and researcher covering the carbon markets and solar panel performance. Walker holds a BA from Princeton University and an Msc from The London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
