LA Green New Deal Ordinances Adopted on Mayor Garcetti’s Last Day in Office

Issue: 

On his final day in office, Former Mayor Eric Garcetti signed a series of ordinances implementing key provisions of LA’s Green New Deal including banning polystyrene, expanding the single-use plastic ban, banning natural gas in new construction, and phasing out oil drilling in the city.
